If you think you may be interested in a career in Marine Surveying, you should have a strong background of experience in an appropriate sector of the marine industry, such as one of the following :-

Graduate Naval Architect

Sea-going Deck or Engineering Officer

Superintendent Engineer or Marine Superintendent

Marine Surveyor

Ideally you will have some previous experience with CAD and Trim/Stability software.

As a Marine Surveyor you would be expected to attend many different types of survey on a ‘stand alone’ basis, often outwith the office environment, and often outwith normal office hours.

If you think you have suitable background experience and qualifications, and relish the prospect of becoming involved in the demanding, but highly satisfying role of a Marine Surveyor we would be pleased to hear from you.
